JOHN REMSEN, JR. RE-ELECTED PRESIDENT OF LEGAL MARKETING ASSOCIATION
Orlando, Florida — March 21, 2000 — John Remsen, Jr. has been re-elected President of the Southeastern chapter of the Legal Marketing Association (LMA). Remsen has been an active member of LMA since 1990 and has served on its national Board of Directors and as Executive Editor of Strategies, its award-winning newsletter.
The Legal Marketing Association is an 1,100-member organization devoted to furthering the professional needs of individuals engaged in business development and marketing activities within the legal profession. Most of its members are in-house marketing directors at large law firms and marketing consultants to the legal profession. The Southeastern chapter includes members from eight states — Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee — as well as Central America and the Caribbean.
John Remsen, Jr. is a nationally recognized expert on law firm marketing and is frequent lecturer and author on law firm marketing topics. He has been the marketing director at Gunster, Yoakley, Valdes-Fauli & Stewart (West Palm Beach, Florida) and Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur (Columbus, Ohio). In 1997, he formed The Remsen Group, a marketing consulting firm that works exclusively with law firms.
